  • Kwik Trip Runs out of Gas In a surprising vote (at least to the developers of Pabst Farms) the Oconomowoc Common Council sent Kwik Trip Packing as they didn't meet the pre-established Pabst-Farms Standards.

    City Lawyers Up By a unanimous vote the Oconomowoc Common Council Tuesday night agreed to give City Attorney Bill Chapman the option to call for legal assistance should he feel it is needed as the city continues its negotiations with Pabst Farms over the Town Centre.

    Oconomowoc Business Quits Chamber 
    The Oconomowoc Area Chamber of Commerce's stance on supporting all Oconomowoc businesses — regardless of whether they are big box or mom and pop — has cost it a member. Downtown business Willows Gallery contacted the chamber last week to terminate its membership basing the choice on the chamber's support of the proposed Walmart and Sam's Club in Pabst Farms.

  • Anti WalMart Protestors Pack City Hall  About 80 to 90 people packed into the Oconomowoc Common Council chambers Tuesday night to express their dissatisfaction with a plan to build a Walmart Super Center and Sam's Club at Pabst Farms Town Centre.
